Local data and recovery
Harborleaf Packet is designed as a local-first workspace. It may keep projects and settings, source-document references, autosave and recovery data, recovery snapshots, recent-project references, preferences, conversion files, previews, and exported packets on the device.
Exact Windows storage locations, retention behavior, recovery controls, and uninstall behavior operate locally under standard Windows app storage conventions. See the Packet privacy policy before using synchronized or shared storage.
Known conversion limitations
- Unavailable fonts can change text flow and page breaks.
- Workbook print areas, margins, orientation, formulas, charts, and unsupported features can affect output.
- Local converter behavior may differ from Microsoft Excel or Word.
- CSV preserves cell values, not Excel formatting, formulas, charts, merged cells, print areas, or multiple worksheets.
- Large or complex documents can take longer to convert and can produce large PDFs.
Generate and inspect the actual preview before importing converted content.
