Local document processing

Packet creation, document previews, spreadsheet conversion, and PDF generation are designed to occur locally on your Windows device. A final packaged-build review of network behavior is still required before release; this policy therefore does not claim that transmission is technically impossible in every environment.

Information stored on the device

To provide its workspace and recovery features, Harborleaf Packet may store the following locally:

• Project files, project settings, and source-document paths
• Autosave and recovery data, including recovery snapshots
• Recently used project references and preferences
• Temporary document-conversion files and generated previews
• PDF packets exported to locations you select

Removing a document from a packet does not delete its original source file.

Document and spreadsheet conversion

Imported documents may be processed through bundled local conversion components, including LibreOffice where applicable. Conversion may create a temporary copy; Harborleaf Packet does not intentionally modify the original source document or workbook.

Output formatting can vary because of unavailable fonts, workbook print settings, formulas, charts, unsupported features, and converter behavior. Generate and inspect a preview before adding converted content to a packet.

External storage, applications, and services

Files saved in OneDrive, Google Drive, network folders, or other synchronized locations may be processed by those providers under their own policies. Files opened through another installed application are subject to that application's behavior.

Windows and Microsoft Store services may collect diagnostics according to your Windows and Microsoft settings. Those Microsoft diagnostics are separate from diagnostics collected directly by Harborleaf Packet.

Analytics, advertising, sharing, and selling

The final packaged application has not yet been supplied with this website repository for verification. Before release, Horizon Tech Services must confirm whether the package contains first-party analytics or crash reporting and verify how any such feature operates.

Harborleaf Packet is designed for local document processing, not for sending imported document contents to Horizon Tech Services, selling personal information, or using document contents for advertising. These statements remain subject to final packaged-build verification.

Retention and deletion

You control the project files and exported PDFs saved to locations you select and can delete them with Windows File Explorer. Removing a project or export does not delete its original source documents.

Harborleaf Packet may retain recovery points, preferences, temporary conversion data, abandoned conversion data, and other Windows application data. Exact storage locations and application control names are pending packaged-build verification. Until those details are confirmed, use Windows application settings to remove application data where that option is offered, and review user-selected folders separately. Uninstalling Harborleaf Packet may not remove projects, exported PDFs, or other documents saved outside the application's managed data.

Security

Use a secured Windows account, device encryption, appropriate access controls, and trusted storage locations when working with sensitive board documents. No software or storage method can guarantee complete security.

Children's privacy

Harborleaf Packet is a general business-productivity application and is not directed specifically to children under 13.

Policy changes

If this policy changes materially, Horizon Tech Services will update the effective date shown above.
